APSC Recruitment 2025 Details
- Name of the Post: Inspector of Schools / District Elementary Education Officer / Deputy Director

- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000, Grade Pay: Rs. 14,500
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 38 years of age as of 01/01/2025.
Educational Qualification:
- A Second-Class Master’s Degree with a uniformly brilliant career.
- B.T/B.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Teaching experience in schools and colleges for at least 10 years, OR
- Administrative experience for 10 years, with at least 5 years of teaching experience.
Other Criteria for APSC Recruitment
Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residency:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The candidate should produce a PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued in Assam for educational purposes, or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency, along with the online application form.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered with any of the employment exchanges in Assam.
Small Family Norms: Candidates are required to submit a declaration regarding the "Small Family Norms" in Form-A during the application process.
