NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 – Notification for 29 Executive & Executive Trainee Posts
North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of 29 Executive and Executive Trainee posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online.
NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 Details
Executive Trainee (Electrical)
- Number of Posts: 13 (UR: 9, SC: 2, ST: 1, ES: 1)
- Essential Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE/B.Sc. Engg. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute or University with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 in Electrical Engineering.
Executive Trainee (Human Resources)
- Number of Posts: 10 (UR: 6, ST: 1, SC: 2, OBC: 1)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate with a full-time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel & Administration/Industrial Relations/Human Resource Development/Human Resource Management (minimum 2 years duration) from a recognized University or Institute with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates must have appeared in the UGC-NET in Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Labour & Social Welfare/HRM in 2024 (June cycle) and secured at least 40% marks in both papers.
Executive Trainee (Geology)
- Number of Posts: 2 (UR: 1, SC: 1)
- Essential Qualification: Full-time M.Sc./M.Tech in Applied Geology from a recognized Institute or University with at least 65% marks (55% for SC candidates). Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 for Geology/Geophysics.
Executive Trainee (Law)
- Number of Posts: 1 (UR: 1)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate with LLB (Three-year full-time course recognized by GOI), with two years of practice in court law as an advocate or judicial service, or three years of experience in CPSU/representing the PSU in court law. Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the CLAT Examination 2025 for PG courses.
Executive Trainee (IT)
- Number of Posts: 2 (OBC: 1, SC: 1)
- Essential Qualification: Full-time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg. (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electronics/IT) or MCA from a recognized Institute or University with at least 65% marks (55% for SC candidates). Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 for Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee)
- Number of Posts: 1 (UR: 1)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate and a Qualified Company Secretary holding valid Membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). A Degree in Law is an added qualification. Desirable experience: 1-2 years in the executive or senior supervisory level in Central/State Undertakings/Autonomous bodies or large industrial organizations dealing with Corporate Laws, Statutory and Non-Statutory Secretarial matters. In-depth knowledge of SEBI/Stock Exchange compliance is desirable.

Candidates applying for the following posts must have appeared and qualified in the respective exams:
- Executive Trainee (Electrical): GATE 2024 in Electrical Engineering.
- Executive Trainee (Human Resources): UGC-NET 2024 in Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Labour & Social Welfare/HRM.
- Executive Trainee (IT): GATE 2024 for Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
- Executive Trainee (Geology): GATE 2024 for Geology/Geophysics.
- Executive Trainee (Law): CLAT 2025 for PG Courses.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to General, EWS & OBC (NCL) categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 560. The SC/ST/PwBD/ESM and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
