Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens, as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

• Residency:

  • Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
  • A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes, or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, should be submitted as proof of residency with the online application.

• Age Limit (as of 01/01/2025):

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Maximum age: 38 years

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC/MOBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

• Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate must have a B.Sc. in Agriculture or an equivalent degree recognized by the Government of Assam.

• Employment Exchange Registration:

  • Candidates must be registered with an employment exchange in Assam.

  • Applicants must submit a declaration regarding “Small Family Norms” in Form-A during the application process.
