The Central Selection Board (CSB) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, Assam has issued a recruitment notification for the filling of 569 Grade III & Grade IV positions under various departments such as PWD, Education, Forest, Irrigation, Sericulture, Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship Dept. (SEED), Information & Public Relations (I&PR), and Agriculture Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts.

BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment 2025 Details

• Name of Post: Grade III & Grade IV

• Total Posts: 569

  • Graduate Level or Equivalent: 190 posts

  • HS Level or Equivalent: 104 posts

  • Grade IV or Equivalent: 275 posts

• Departments: PWD, Education, Forest, Irrigation, Sericulture, SEED, I&PR, Agriculture

• Resident-ship: Applicants must be permanent residents of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Assam. Candidates from the newly added 60 villages in Biswanath, Sonitpur, and Udalguri Districts (as per recent notifications) are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 40 years as of 1st January 2025

• Age relaxation is available as per government norms. The age will be calculated based on documents like School/Matriculation Certificates, Admit Cards, Birth Certificates, or other relevant government documents.

Employment Exchange Registration

Applicants must be registered with any Employment Exchange in Assam.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate Level or Equivalent:

  1. LDA/Jr. Asstt./Statistical Asstt./Computer Asstt.: Bachelor's degree with a 1-year diploma in computer applications.

  2. Internal Auditor: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

  3. Library Assistant: Bachelor's degree with a diploma in Library Science.

  4. Store Keeper:

     • Bachelor's degree with a 1-year diploma in computer.

     • OR ITI certificate in any trade and 3 years of professional experience in industrial store handling.

• HS Level or Equivalent:

  1. Agri. Extension Assistant (AEA), Field Assistant, Primary Investigator (PI), Grafter: HS (Arts/Science/Commerce) passed.

  2. Surveyor: HS passed with a certificate in Draftsmanship.

  3. Field Man & Power Sprayer & Duster Operator (PS&DO): HS passed with a Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Training.

  4. I&PR:

     • HSLC passed

     • A certificate from a recognized technical institution or at least 3 years of practical experience in handling electronic equipment like PA systems, radios, projectors, etc.

• Grade-IV or Equivalent:
  Minimum qualification: Class VIII passed, and the maximum qualification: HS Exam passed.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on a written examination followed by an oral interview. Both will be held at the candidates' own expense.

• Duration: 2 hours

• Total Marks: 100 (Written Exam: 80 marks, Oral Interview: 20 marks)

  • General Knowledge (special emphasis on BTR and Assam)

  • Logical Reasoning and Aptitude

  • Arithmetic
