NEET Application Form Details

Eligibility Criteria for NEET-UG 2025

The eligibility criteria for NEET-UG 2025 are as follows:

Nationality:
Candidates from the following nationalities are eligible to apply:

  • Indian Nationals
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs)
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)
  • Foreign Nationals

Age Limit:
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete 17 years on or before 31st December 2025. There is no upper age limit for applying to NEET-UG 2025.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed (or be appearing for) the Class 12 (or equivalent) exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects. The minimum marks required are:

  • General: 50%
  • SC/ST/OBC (NCL): 40%
  • PWD: 40%

NEET-UG 2025 Application Fee

Candidates will need to pay the application fee when submitting their NEET-UG application. The fee can be paid via credit card, debit card, net banking, e-challan, or UPI. The application fee is as follows:

  • General: ₹1700
  • General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹1600
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹1000

NEET Exam Pattern 2025

NEET-UG 2025 will be a pen and paper-based test with a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). The exam will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer will earn 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The distribution of questions is as follows:

  • Physics: 45 questions (180 marks)
  • Chemistry: 45 questions (180 marks)
  • Biology (Botany & Zoology): 90 questions (360 marks)
