How to Download the SBI Admit Card

Candidates who have applied for the SBI Probationary Officer recruitment can follow these steps to download their admit cards:

  1. Visit the official website of SBI.
  2. Scroll down to the "Important Web-Link" section.
  3. Click on the link for the SBI Admit Card.
  4. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/DOB (DD-MM-YY), then click on "Login."
  5. Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  6. Download and take a printout of your admit card to bring it on the day of the exam.

SBI PO Selection Process

The selection process for the SBI Probationary Officer position will be carried out in three phases:

Phase I: Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Exam will be an online Objective Test for 100 marks, consisting of three sections with separate timings: English Language (40 questions, 20 minutes), Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions, 20 minutes), and Reasoning Ability (30 questions, 20 minutes). The total duration for the exam is 60 minutes.

Phase II: Main Examination
The Main Examination will also be online, consisting of two parts: an Objective Test for 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 50 marks.

The Objective Test will have a total of 170 questions spread across four sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (40 questions, 60 marks, 50 minutes), Data Analysis & Interpretation (30 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes), General Awareness/ Economy/ Banking Knowledge (60 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes), and English Language (40 questions, 20 marks, 40 minutes). The total duration for the Objective Test is 180 minutes (3 hours).

The Descriptive Test (50 marks) will follow immediately after the Objective Test. It will test Communication Skills, including Email Writing, Report Writing, Situation Analysis, and Precis Writing, and candidates will need to type their answers on the computer within 30 minutes.

Phase III: Interview
Candidates who qualify the first two phases may be shortlisted for Phase III, which could include a Psychometric Test for personality profiling, whose results will be presented to the interview panel. The final phase consists of an Interview (30 marks) and Group Exercises (20 marks). Candidates will need to score the minimum qualifying marks in Phase III to be considered for final selection, as determined by the Bank.
