NERIST Entrance Exam 2024
The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli (Itanagar), has released the official notification for the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) for the academic session 2024–2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for NEE 2024 to gain admission to the Base Module (Certificate Course), Degree Module Courses in Technology streams, and Degree Module courses in Forestry.

Eligibility Criteria for NERIST Entrance Exam
1. Entrance Exam: NEE-I (Base Module)
- No of Seats: 220 (200 General + 20 Reserved)
- Course: Base Module (Certificate Course)
- Eligibility: Class-X Appeared/Passed
2. Entrance Exam: NEE-II (PCM) / NEE-II (VOC)
- No of Seats: 77 (70 General + 7 Reserved)
- Course: B.Tech.
- Eligibility: Class-XII (PCM) Appeared/Passed, or Class-XII (Voc)/ ITI/ NERIST Certificate in AE/CE/ECE/EE/ME Appeared/Passed
3. Entrance Exam: NEE-II (PCB)
- No of Seats: 33 (30 General + 3 Reserved)
- Course: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Forestry
- Eligibility: Class-XII (PCB) Appeared/Passed
4. Entrance Exam: NEE-III (Lateral Entry)
- No of Seats: 79 (72 General + 7 Reserved)
- Course: B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)
- Eligibility: 3-Year Diploma in the Relevant Branch of Engineering & Technology Appeared/Passed
Application Fee for NERIST Entrance Exam
Candidates applying for NERIST Entrance Exam must pay the following application fees:
- SC/ST/PH Candidates: ₹1000 + Charges
- UR/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹1500 + Charges
Payment Mode: Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking

- NEE-II & NEE-III: 20th April 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- NEE-I: 21st April 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
How to Apply for NERIST NEE Exam
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official NERIST website (www.nerist.ac.in). Follow these steps to apply:
- Scroll down and go to the Important Web-Links section.
- Click on the "Online Application Form" and complete the registration process by selecting New Registration.
- After registration, log in by clicking on the "Online Application Form" link.
- Fill in your personal and educational details, and upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee according to your category and submit the form.
- Don't forget to take a printout of the application form for future reference.
