Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2025

The Gauhati High Court has issued an official notification inviting applications for the recruitment of three Senior Personal Assistant posts at its Principal Seat. Interested and eligible candidates who meet the required criteria can apply online through the official recruitment portal of the Gauhati High Court.
Vacancy Details
A total of three positions are available, with one post reserved for Unreserved (UR) category and two for OBC/MOBC category candidates. The selected candidates will receive a pay scale under PB-2 of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 97,000, along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9,400 and other allowances as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university along with a diploma in Stenography in English, having a minimum speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in computer typing. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Law degree.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 40 years as on the last date of application submission. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as follows: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC, ST(P), and ST(H), and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Employment Exchange Registration
Applicants must have a valid Employment Exchange registration number for the State of Assam.
Application Fee
The application fee for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories is Rs. 250, while candidates belonging to the PwBD category are exempted from paying any fee. All other candidates are required to pay Rs. 500.

Important Dates
