Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University (KBVSASU), Nalbari, has announced a recruitment notification for 24 posts across various teaching and administrative positions. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online for the following positions:

KBVSAS University Recruitment Details:

1. Professor

   • No of Posts: 8

   • Eligibility: Candidates must meet the qualifications as per the “UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for the appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2018.”

2. Associate Professor

   • No of Posts: 8

   • Eligibility: Candidates must meet the qualifications as per the “UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for the appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2018.”

3. Assistant Professor

   • No of Posts: 3

   • Eligibility: Candidates must meet the qualifications as per the “UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for the appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2018.”

4. Assistant Director of Physical Education

   • No of Posts: 1

   • Eligibility: Candidates must meet the qualifications as per the “UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for the appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2018.”

5. Registrar

   • No of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification:

     • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

     • At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor or 8 years of service as Associate Professor in academic level 12 and above, along with experience in educational administration.

     • OR 15 years of administrative experience, including 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in a university or educational institute.

6. Treasurer

   • No of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification:

     • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

     • At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor or 8 years of service as Associate Professor in academic level 12 and above, with experience in educational administration.

     • OR 15 years of administrative experience, including 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post in a university or educational institute.

7. Controller of Examinations

   • No of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification:

     • Post Graduate degree with at least 55% marks.

     • At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor or 8 years of service as Associate Professor in academic level 12 and above, along with experience in educational administration.

     • OR 15 years of administrative experience, including 8 years as Deputy Controller of Examinations or equivalent post.

     • Adequate experience in conducting university-level examinations is essential.

8. Librarian

   • No of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification:

     • Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

     • At least 10 years of experience as a Librarian at any level in a university library or 10 years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or 10 years of experience as a College Librarian.

     • Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.

     • A Ph.D. in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
