UPSC CMS Examination 2025 - Recruitment for 705 Medical Officer Posts
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 705 Assistant Divisional Medical Officers, General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO), and other posts through the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2025. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2025. This means the candidate must have been born on or after 2nd August 1993. However, for the Medical Officers in the General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services, the upper age limit is 35 years as of 1st August 2025.Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed both the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.Physical and Medical Standards:
Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards as outlined in the regulations for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024.
Application Fee
Fee: Rs. 200 (for General/OBC candidates)
The fee can be paid either by:- Depositing the money at any branch of SBI in cash
- Using the net banking facility of State Bank of India
- Using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card, UPI Payment, or Internet Banking of SBI.
Female, SC/ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from the application fee.
