Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDWSB) has invited applications for 12 contractual posts under the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the South East Guwahati Water Supply Project (SEGWSP). Interested and eligible candidates can apply by 11th May 2025.

Vacancy Details

1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)

• No. of Posts: 2

• Location: PIU-SEGWSP, Guwahati

• Qualification:

  • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institution

  • Postgraduate degree preferred

• Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in Civil works

  • At least 6 years in externally aided projects (EAP) related to water supply

  • Preference to those with surface water source project and field execution experience

• Age Limit: Up to 60 years

• Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil)

• No. of Posts: 4

• Location: PIU-SEGWSP, Guwahati

• Qualification:

  • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years in Civil works

  • At least 4 years in EAP water supply projects

  • Preference for experience in surface water projects and fieldwork

• Age Limit: Up to 50 years

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹70,000 per month

3. Junior Engineer (Civil)

• No. of Posts: 4

• Location: PIU-SEGWSP, Guwahati

• Qualification:

  • Full-time 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering

• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in Civil works related to water supply

  • Preference for field execution and EAP project experience

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month

4. Senior Administrative Assistant

• No. of Posts: 1

• Location: PIU-SEGWSP, Guwahati

• Qualification:

  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in administration, preferably in Government or EAP projects

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month

5. Grade-IV

• No. of Posts: 1

• Location: PIU-SEGWSP, Guwahati

• Qualification:

  • Minimum 8th standard pass

• Experience:

  • At least 1 year in a similar role

  • Skills in driving, plumbing, cooking, etc. will be an advantage

• Age Limit: Up to 55 years

• Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹22,000 per month
