The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has announced a recruitment drive for 135 vacancies in various apprentice roles for the financial year 2024-2025 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online.

1. Graduate Apprentice

• No. of Posts: 54 posts
• Place of Training:
  • Assam Gas Based Power Station (AGBPS), Bokuloni, Dibrugarh, Assam: 5 posts
  • Agartala Gas Based Power Station (AgGBPS), Ramchandra Nagar, Tripura: 7 posts
  • Doyang Hydro Power Station (DHPS), Wokha, Nagaland: 1 post
  • Kameng Hydro Power Station (KaHPS), Kimi, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh: 9 posts
  • Kopili Hydro Power Station (KHPS), Umrongso, Dima Hasao, Assam: 6 posts

  • Degree in Engineering or Technology from a statutory university or an institution empowered to grant such degrees.

2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering or Technology)

3. Graduate or Equivalent in General Streams (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com)

  • A degree in any non-engineering stream (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com) of at least three years duration from a statutory university or recognized institution.

• Monthly Stipend: Rs. 14,877/- per month
• Essential Qualification:
  • Electrician, Lineman, Plumber, and Fitter: 10th & ITI Pass

Other Criteria

• Residency: Candidates must be residents of North East India.
• Qualification Date:
  • For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering, candidates should have completed their qualifications by 31st March 2023.
  • For Non-Engineering Graduates, candidates should have completed their degree by 31st March 2023.
  • For ITI Trade Apprentices, candidates should have completed their ITI course.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 28 years old as of 01-12-2024.
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen.

For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering:

1. Register online at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
2. Obtain a valid enrollment ID after successful registration.
3. Apply online through the NATS portal using your enrollment ID.

For Non-Engineering Graduate (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com):

1. Register online at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
2. Obtain a valid enrollment ID after successful registration.
3. Apply online using your NATS ID.

For ITI Trade Apprentice (Electrician, Lineman, Plumber, Fitter):

1. Register online at the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
2. Obtain a valid enrollment ID after successful registration.
3. Apply online using your NAPS ID.
