Essential Qualification: Candidates must fulfill the qualifications as per the existing UGC norms (UGC Regulation - 2018), with any additional UGC regulations issued in continuation of the 2018 guidelines, if applicable.

Pay Scale (as per latest UGC revision):

• Professor (Academic Level-14): Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/-

• Associate Professor (Academic Level-13A): Rs. 1,31,400/- to Rs. 2,17,100/-

• Assistant Professor (Academic Level-10): Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/-

Application Fee for Gauhati University Faculty Vacancy:

• UR/Others: Rs. 1500/-

• SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 750/-

Mode of Payment: The application fee must be paid online via Internet banking, Credit Cards, or Debit Cards.

The envelope containing the application must be clearly marked:
