Sainik School Admission 2025 – Online Application for AISSEE 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the official notification for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025, which is for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across India for the academic year 2025-2026.

Sainik Schools are English-medium residential institutions affiliated with CBSE and are managed by the Sainik Schools Society under the Ministry of Defence. They aim to prepare cadets for joining prestigious academies like the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and other officer training institutions.

The name of the Sainik School in Assam is Sainik School, Goalpara. The number of seats available for the entrance examination are:

- 67% of the seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in the state or Union Territory (UT) where the Sainik School is located.
- 33% of the seats are reserved for candidates from other states and UTs.

Eligibility Criteria for Sainik School Admission
For Class VI:
- Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years old as of 31 March 2025. They should be born between 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2015 (both dates inclusive).
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI.
For Class IX:
- Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years old as of 31 March 2025, i.e., born between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2012 (both dates inclusive).
- Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies.
- Candidates should have passed Class VIII from a recognized school at the time of admission.
AISSEE 2025 Application Fee
- SC/ST: ₹650/-
- Others: ₹800/-
The application fee must be paid online using debit/credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.

Qualifying Marks for AISSEE
- Candidates must secure at least 25% marks in each subject and 40% aggregate marks across all subjects to be eligible for admission.
- For SC/ST candidates, no minimum marks are required. They will be admitted based on merit within their respective category, provided they meet eligibility, medical fitness, and document verification requirements.
- If an SC/ST/OBC candidate qualifies for general merit, they will be considered for a general seat.
